SC&H Group Gives Back to the Community With Day of Service

SPARKS, MD — June 22, 2007 — SC&H Group, LLC—one of the nation's largest and fastest growing CPA and Management Consulting Firms—has designated June 22nd as a Day of Service for the firm. SC&H will be closing its office so that all of its employees can work on various community improvement projects throughout the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas. SC&H is conducting this Day of Service in conjunction with Business Volunteers Unlimited, an organization whose mission is to inspire volunteerism and connect motivated people and businesses to nonprofit organizations that will lead to stronger communities.

SC&H has a strong track record of giving back to the community. The firm participates in and sponsors numerous local philanthropic events, and many of its employees sit on the boards of leading non-profit organizations. Also, the firm gives large sums of money to local charities each year under the direction of the employee-led SC&H Group Charitable Foundation. While SC&H prides itself on its efforts to improve the community year-round, this marks the first time SC&H has closed its office in a corporate-wide effort to improve the community.
