SC&H Group, LLC is pleased to offer a wide range of benefits to its employees. These Company-sponsored benefits are an important part of the total compensation package. They represent both a valuable asset to our employees and to their families, and demonstrate an investment by SC&H in our employees. We are proud of our comprehensive benefits program and are committed to continuously improving the plans that make up our benefits offerings. Our goal is to provide benefits at a reasonable cost to employees and the Company. All full-time employees (those working 30 or more hours per week) of SC&H Group, LLC are eligible to participate in the benefit plans.
SC&H Group, LLC offers all eligible employees medical insurance through CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. Our plan utilizes the BCBS Preferred network, does not require the selection of a Primary Care Physician, and allows members to seek care both in-network and out-of-network. SC&H pays 70% of the cost of this benefit, while employees pay just 30%. Members enrolled in the medical plan automatically receive prescription drug coverage through Argus, the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company used by Blue Cross. Argus has over 59,000 participating pharmacies nationwide.
SC&H Group, LLC offers dental coverage to all eligible employees. SC&H pays 50% of the cost of this benefit, while employees pay just 50%. Dental coverage is provided by CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, which has an extensive network of dentists and specialists through out the country.
SC&H Group, LLC offers a Voluntary Vision program through CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, partnering with Davis Vision. The plan allows participants both flexibility and convenience when accessing services.

SC&H encourages its professionals to pursue certifications that will be beneficial to their service line and specialty. We promote these endeavors by supporting our employees’ efforts with preparation courses, and providing paid time off to sit for the exams.
SC&H supports the professional development of our employees. We believe it is of the utmost importance that our team members enhance their knowledge and skills in all aspects of the professional world. Throughout the year, our firm provides opportunities for employees to participate in programs covering such topics as ethics, writing, negotiation, leadership, and technology.
In addition to certifications and continuing professional development, SC&H understands the importance of having its team members involved in professional associations and community organizations. When appropriate, SC&H pays for the association memberships of our professionals and provides time away from the office to attend association meetings and networking events.
Employees of SC&H share in the ownership of the firm through the SC&H Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Shares of stock are allocated to eligible employees on an annual basis. The value of the stock is determined annually by an independent appraiser. As the firm grows, the value of each participant’s account increases. Eligibility is based on completing a year of service. Each employee’s account is subject to vesting.
All employees are eligible for vacation time. Managers and above receive 4 weeks of vacation. All other employees with less than 5 years of service receive 3 weeks of vacation; after the 5th year of service, these employees receive 4 weeks of vacation. Vacation time is prorated based on the date of hire. All unused vacation is forfeited at the end of the calendar year.
Employees scheduled to work 40 hours per week will receive 4 sick days per year, which are prorated from the date of hire. All unused sick time is forfeited at the end of the calendar year. Additionally, employees scheduled to work 40 hours per week will receive 2 personal days per year, which are prorated from the date of hire.
The Company observes 8 paid holidays throughout the year.
